Tras publicar hace unas semanas las reediciones de sus tres primeros discos, Led Zeppelin lanzarán el 28 de octubre las correspondientes a 'IV' (1971) y 'Houses of the Holy' (1973).
Como ya se anunció en su momento, estas reediciones supervisadas por el guitarrista Jimmy Page llegarán con material inédito. En este apartado, destaca en lo referente a 'IV' una versión alternativa registrada en los Sunset Studios de Hollywood, que finalmente fue descartada.
En el disco 'IV' hay también versiones alternativas de 'Black Dog', 'Rock and Roll', 'The Battle of Evermore', 'Stairway to Heaven', 'Misty Mountain Hop', 'Four Sticks', 'Going to California' y 'When the Levee Breaks'.
Por su parte, 'Houses of the Holy' llega con mezclas alternativas de 'The Song Remains the Same', 'The Rain Song', 'Over the Hills and Far Away', 'The Crunge', 'Dancing Days', 'No Quarter' y 'The Ocean'.
