Taylor Swift ha vuelto a demostrar su espíritu solidario. La cantante no ha querido dejar pasar la oportunidad de hacer una importante donación al Hospital Cedars-Sinai de Los Ángeles donde miles de niños son tratados al año.

La persona que ha sacado a la luz este gesto no ha sido la propia artista, sino otra actriz que ha querido reconocer en su cuenta de Instagram la generosidad de la novia de Tom Hiddleston.

"Para todos. A las 20 semanas (de su nacimiento) nuestro hijo fue diagnosticado con una transposición de las arterias, también conocido como TGA. Tenía que someterse a una cirugía mayor del corazón, que fue aterrador y traumático para nosotros como padres, y para nuestra familia. Sólo unos pocos de nuestros mejores amigos lo sabían. Me sentí que tenía que protegerlo del miedo a lo desconocido... Nos sentimos aislados y confundidos ", comenzó la protagonista de Sin City, Jaime King.

"@taylorswift hace tantos actos desinteresados que pasan inadvertidos porque los hace en silencio, desde la entrega incondicional. A medida que se acercaba el cumpleaños de Leo Thames, su madrina hizo un donativo increíble para la gente que salvó su vida junto al doctor Allistar Phillips y su brillante equipo", añadía la esposa de Kyle Newman.

"Ella nos hizo darnos cuenta de que el silencio no nos conecta con otros padres y las personas que pasan por situaciones similares... Ella llegó a la UCI para consolarnos, para sostener el vínculo con fortaleza. Nuestro regalo es compartir nuestra historia para cualquiera que pase por lo mismo no se sienta solo, entendemos y queremos que se tome conciencia de la mejor manera posible. Leo Thames, es un muchacho sano y más fuerte gracias a este equipo. Él va a vivir una vida plena y completa, y no tendrá que mirar hacia atrás. Gracias a Taylor y a todo el que lea esta carta. Dear all- at 20 weeks our son was diagnosed with Transposition of the Great Arteries AKA TGA. He had a major heart surgery, that was terrifying, and traumatic for us as parents, for our family. Only a few of our best friends knew. I felt that I had to protect him in fear of the unknown, fear he would not make it. We felt isolated & confused. @taylorswift does so many selfless acts that go unnoticed because she does them silently, from such a great place of unconditional giving. As the Godmother of Leo Thames for his birthday she gave an incredible donation to the people that saved his life Dr. Allistar Phillips and his brilliant team. It made us realize that silence cannot connect other parents & people going through these issues. TS knew that by giving back in this way would be the greatest gift one could give to us, to Leo Thames and to all of those with congenital heart issues. She came to the ICU to comfort us, to hold and bond with him with such grace & strength. Our gift back is to share our story that anyone that is going through this is not alone, we understand & want to stand up to bring awareness in the greatest way possible. Leo Thames is the strongest, healthiest boy because of this team. He will live a full and whole life & never have to look back. Thank you Taylor & to EVERYONE listed on this letter we love you.
