Sophia Bush, rota por la muerte de su exnovio en el terremoto de Nepal

   Dan Fredinburg es el primer estadounidense cuya muerte es confirmada por las autoridades nepalíes y su exnovia Sophia Bush esta rota de dolor por la pérdida.

   Las cifras de fallecidos por el seísmo en Nepal no dejan de aumentar y las réplicas, la última de 6,7 en la escala Richter, no hacen más que aumentar el temor a que esta catástrofe se cobre más de las más de 2.000 víctimas confirmadas por las autoridades, desbordadas por la situación crítica en la zona. Una tragedia que, por esas curiosas casualidades de la vida, ha tocado de cerca de uno de los rostros de Hollywood. Ahora entendemos el talante serio que lució la siempre sonriente Sophia Bush en la cena de Corresponsales en la Casa Blanca, celebrada el pasado 25 de abril en el hotel Hilton de la capital. Su exnovio, Daniel Fredinburg, es uno de los montañeros que perdió la vida en el Monte Everest.

   "No tengo palabras. Hoy me encuentro tratando de recoger los pedazos de mi corazón que han sido rotos en pequeños fragmentos, probablemente no llegue a encontrarlos todos. Hoy yo, y muchos de mis seres queridos, hemos perdido a un amigo increíble. Dan Fredinburg era uno de ellos. Arriesgado. Muy divertido", escribía en Instagram la protagonista de la mítica serie juvenil The O. C.

There are no adequate words. Today I find myself attempting to pick up the pieces of my heart that have broken into such tiny shards, I'll likely never find them all. Today I, and so many of my loved ones, lost an incredible friend. Dan Fredinburg was one-of-a-kind. Fearless. Funny. A dancing robot who liked to ride dinosaurs and chase the sun and envision a better future for the world. His brain knew how to build it. His heart was constantly evolving to push himself to make it so. He was one of my favorite human beings on Earth. He was one of the great loves of my life. He was one of my truest friends. He was an incredible brother, a brilliant engineer, and a damn good man. I'm devastated and simultaneously so deeply grateful to have known and loved him, and to have counted him as one of my tribe. I was so looking forward to our planned download of "all the things" when he got home. I am crushed that I will never hear that story. I am crushed knowing that there are over 1,000 people in Nepal suffering this exact feeling, knowing that they too will never hear another tale about an adventure lived from someone that they love. Disasters like this are often unquantifiable, the enormity is too much to understand. Please remember that each person who is now gone was someone's Dan.    El aventurero de 33 años, que se encontraba de excursión junto a otros 18 escaladores más, fue el primer estadounidense cuya muerte fue confirmada por las autoridades nepalíes. El terremoto, que devastó la capital de Katmandú, causó heridas a casi 6.000 personas en las zonas colindantes al campo base del Everest.
