BERLIN, Germany, July 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The Berlin based company Junghanns.NET GmbH presents their GSM PCI interface card for telephone systems, which allows companies to make free of charge calls to GSM networks. "Companies can save up to 95 per cent, because only basic fees apply for mobile calls," says Jens-Uwe Junghanns, sales manager of Junghanns.NET GmbH. "Initial costs will usually be compensated within one month by saved charges."
Junghanns.NET GmbH uses free intranetwork calls, which almost all mobile providers offer in certain rates. The GSM-PCI-card allows the use of up to four different SIM-cards. It is easily integrated into an existing Asterisk PBX and routes calls using the most cost effective SIM-card. "The caller just dials a number and the telephone system decides automatically through which SIM-card the call is routed," says Junghanns. "Although free calls into the PSTN are possible, since mobile providers offer flatrates for PSTN, too."
Additionally the software coming with the cards allows "Callback" making calls from the mobile free of charge. The caller dials his access number and hangs up. The PBX initiates a callback to his mobile phone and provides a local dialtone to him. "Even international mobile calls can be free," explains Junghanns. "Companies just have to route calls between their locations through the internet and use the free intranetwork calls in the countries called."
About the GSM-PCI card
The GSM-PCI-card is available in three versions, for one, two and four GSM channels. It is inserted into a standard PCI slot in a PC and after installation of Linux and the free software Asterisk becomes a PBX. In Asterisk it is possible to program callback and other rules for dialling.
