Fútbol/Mundial.- Darren Fletcher liderará a Escocia en los partidos clasificatorios contra Macedonia e Islandia

El centrocampista del Manchester United Darren Fletcher lidera la lista de 25 jugadores convocados por el seleccionador de Escocia, George Burley, para afrontar los encuentros frente a Macedonia e Islandia, clasificatorios para el Mundial de Suráfrica 2010.

La selección escocesa viajará a Skopje para enfrentarse a Macedonia el próximo 6 de septiembre y posteriormente se trasladará a Reykjavik para medirse con Islandia el día 10. La columna vertebral de la selección volverá a estar compuesta por jugadores de los dos equipos de Glasgow, el Celtic (6) y el Rangers (5).
