Hercules Offshore, Inc. (Nasdaq: HERO) announced today that V. Frank Pottow is stepping down from Hercules' Board of Directors. Mr. Pottow, a managing director of Greenhill & Co. and a member of the investment committee of Greenhill Capital Partners, has been a director of Hercules since Greenhill's initial investment in Hercules in October 2004. Greenhill currently owns less than five percent of the Company's outstanding shares.
