Encouraged by the tremendous success of the first virtual Career Fair held in Luxembourg at the end of last year, the Luxembourg based company Gax Technologies is organising a second recruiting event. On May 29 the exhibition 'Working Worlds' opens its doors again on Second Life, this time to all three Benelux countries.
The biggest employers in Belgium, the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg will attend and will receive the candidates in their virtual offices or in the Business Center that 'Working Worlds' makes available to Internet users. This new method of recruitment, very in tune with today's modes of communication, has now become essential with candidates from all over the world being able to participate.
Thanks to 'Working Worlds', companies on the lookout for new talents in the areas of finance, information and telecommunications, industry and commerce are equally able to present a creative and dynamic image of their entity. Cornelia den Hartog, Managing Director of Gax Technologies and organizer of the Career Fair is entirely convinced: "The tremendous success of the first exhibition confirms the quality and originality of this new method of recruitment.".
The need for companies to attract new profiles from beyond the territorial limits is becoming more and more important. The previously held Career Fair for Luxembourg is already the best concretization of the concept. No less than 50 job openings have been filled as a result of the event.
