Adele triunfa en los BRIT Awards con la Mejor Canción y el Mejor Álbum

   Adele ha ganado cuatro galardones en la entrega de los BRIT Awards 2016 en Londres, en una ceremonia llena de estrellas en la que se realizó un reconocimiento póstumo al músico David Bowie.

   La cantante se impuso en las categorías de álbum británico del año por "25", superando a rivales como Coldplay y Florence and the Machine; y canción británica por su melodía "Hello", en la que competía con Ed Sheeran y Calvin Harris, entre otros.

   La intérprete también se llevó los premios a la solista femenina británica y al éxito global británico. "Este fue un álbum realmente difícil de hacer", dijo una Adele visiblemente emocionada al recibir la estatuilla, dedicando el premio a su pareja, Simon Konecki. "Él es el amor de mi vida y todo esto es por tí, Simon, te amo tanto", agregó.

   El fallecido David Bowie, una estrella visionaria del rock, fue honrado con el premio al icono británico, a poco más de un mes de su muerte. A Bowie le rindieron un emotivo homenaje la cantante británica Annie Lennox y luego el actor Gary Oldman, quien recibió el premio en nombre del músico.

   "El mundo perdió a un artista de un talento trascendente", dijo Oldman. "Él era la definición misma, la encarnación viva de esa palabra: un icono", agregó. La cantante neozelandesa Lorde interpretó el éxito de Bowie "Life on Mars" tras la entrega del premio.
