El supergrupo de Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper y Joe Perry (con muy ilustres amigos) publicará disco en septiembre

   El supergrupo The Hollywood Vampires, comandado por Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper y Joe Perry (Aerosmith), publicará su primer disco el próximo 11 de septiembre.

   Este triunvirato de lujo estará, además, acompañado por ilustres invitados como Paul McCartney, Dave Grohl, Slash, Brian Johnson (AC/DC), Joe Walsh (The Eagles), Robby Krieger (The Doors), el actor recientemente fallecido Christopher Lee, Perry Farrell, Zak Starkey y Kip Winger.

   El disco contiene versiones de Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Pink Floyd, Harry Nilsson, Led Zeppelin y The Who, aparte de algunas composiciones originales. Todos los beneficios del disco se donarán a MusiCares (organización que ayuda a músicos).

   Originalmente, The Hollywood Vampires eran una pandilla de ilustres e infinitos bebedores que regaban sus gaznates con profusión en el mítico club Rainbow del Sunset Strip de Hollywood durante la década de los setenta. En sus filas estaban John Lennon, Keith Moon, Ringo Starr, Harry Nilson... todos ellos capitaneados por Alice Cooper.

   Precisamente este último es de nuevo el capitán de una nueva encarnación de esos vampiros de Hollywood, que en esta ocasión, ya más formalitos, no tiene nada que ver con la fiesta sin fin, sino con la música.
